What are we all about?
Glorifying God
We are Christ followers dedicated to Glorifying God through our daily lives.
“I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.”
The fruit of our belief in God is to glorify, honor, magnify, and celebrate Him in our daily lives. Honor and glory include attitudes and behaviors of believing in Him, trusting and following His ways instead of ours, praising Him with words, songs, and works, being content in our God-given circumstances, working out our salvation and living out the purpose He has designed for us, and suffering for Him if called to do so — all while being led by the Holy Spirit.
Being Discipled
We are called to live a life of Discipleship, always learning and growing as we press into God and our community.
“My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding...then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.”
Discipleship is a transformative process that, over time, brings us from spiritual infancy to a growing spiritual maturity. Spiritual maturity reflects our will to obey and do His purpose. Through this process, we grow to reflect His image in our beliefs, thoughts, and deeds.
Making Disciples
We are Disciple Makers as we share the Gospel Message with the world around us.
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
The ultimate goal of being disciples is to be able to make disciples and share spiritual disciplines and knowledge with others, inspiring them to fulfill their God-given purpose in the image of Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. Making disciples takes intention, time, and perseverance.
